Affiliate Disclosure
We're upfront about how this site makes money. Here's exactly how our affiliate links work.
Last updated: October 21, 2026
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Affiliate links on this site
BaitRodReel is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Many of the product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission.
We may also participate in other affiliate programs with retailers and brands. Links to those merchants work the same way and are covered by this disclosure.
What it costs you
Nothing. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our links. The commission comes from the merchant, not from you.
How affiliate relationships affect our content
- We choose what to cover based on what's useful to bass and trout anglers, not on which products pay the most.
- A product's commission rate does not determine its ranking, rating or whether it appears in a roundup.
- We include honest drawbacks for the products we recommend.
- If we ever publish sponsored content or receive a free product for review, we'll clearly label it on that page.
Read more about how we pick and write about gear in our editorial policy.
How you can tell a link is an affiliate link
Pages that contain affiliate links carry a short disclosure near the top, and buttons that lead to a merchant are
labelled (for example, “Check price on Amazon”). Affiliate links are also marked with the rel="sponsored"
attribute so search engines know they're commercial.
Prices and availability
We don't display product prices on our pages because prices change constantly. Please check the merchant's site for current pricing, availability, shipping and return details before you buy. Product details we publish (such as specifications) are provided for general guidance and may differ from the manufacturer's current listing.
Trademarks
Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. All other product names, logos and brands are the property of their respective owners.
