This Privacy Policy describes how BaitRodReel (“we,” “us,” “our”), the operator of baitrodreel.com (the “Site”), handles information about visitors.
Information we collect
Information you give us
The Site has no accounts, comments or sign-up forms. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond to you.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and timestamps. This data is used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example, which pages are popular). It is designed to be privacy-focused and does not use cookies or track individual visitors across sites.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies of our own. Our infrastructure provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security and bot protection. When you click an affiliate link and leave the Site, the merchant (for example, Amazon) may set its own cookies so it can attribute a purchase to us. Those cookies are governed by the merchant's privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
The Site contains affiliate links to third-party merchants, including Amazon. We don't receive your personal information from those merchants; they report only that a purchase occurred and our commission. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site (such as our hosting and security provider), when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Data retention
Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request or as required by law. Technical logs are retained by our infrastructure provider according to its own schedule.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email hello@baitrodreel.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. Because we hold very little personal information, we may not have anything to provide, but we will tell you so.
Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. We do not track you across websites, so we treat all visitors the same regardless of these signals.
Children's privacy
The Site is a general-audience site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
